Is Screentrino free to use?
Yes. Every template, background, frame and typography option is free to style and preview, and you can use Write with AI and translation within the free allowances. You only pay when you export your screenshots or send them to the stores.
What exactly is an export pass?
A one-time payment of £6.99 that unlocks unlimited exports for 7 days from the moment you buy it. It's built for a single launch or update, not ongoing use.
Why would I choose monthly or annual over a pass?
If you update your app's screenshots more than roughly once a month, a subscription works out cheaper than buying repeated export passes.
Can I upload straight to App Store Connect and Google Play?
Yes, with any paid plan, including the export pass. Screentrino uploads every language and size in your slide order, and your App Store Connect or Google Play key stays locked in your browser. Uploading counts as an export for refunds. See the support page for setup.
What do AI translation credits mean?
One credit translates one piece of text: a headline, subtitle, note, sticker or badge line. A full set of 10 screenshots uses about 60 credits per language. Free accounts get 150 credits a day, which reset at midnight (UTC); unused ones don't carry over. An export pass includes 2,000 credits to use any time during its 7 days, enough to translate a whole project into all 25 languages. Monthly and annual plans include 6,000 credits a month, refreshed on the 1st, so you can translate everything in one go. Text that's already translated is free to keep, so changing one headline only uses credits for that line. The app shows an estimate before you start. Write with AI is a separate allowance of 30 runs a day.
Can I cancel a subscription anytime?
Yes. Monthly and annual plans can be cancelled at any time from your account, and you keep export access until the current period ends.
Who processes my payment?
Payments are handled by our payment provider, who is the merchant of record for your purchase. Your receipt and any tax invoice come from them, not from Screentrino directly.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as you haven't exported anything without the watermark (uploading to App Store Connect or Google Play counts as exporting). The first time you export with a paid plan, the app asks you to confirm that your right to cancel ends once your files are created and downloaded or sent to a store, and we keep a record of each export. After files have been downloaded we don't normally offer refunds. Refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, and any extra rights you have under your local law still apply. Do prices include VAT?
